The 21st of November was certainly a wet and windy morning, nevertheless, five members of Llangunllo WI braved the elements and travelled to Llandrindod Wells Lake to join fellow County members for the walk to mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and International White Ribbon Day.
Despite the wind and rain, those present, complete with placards and white ribbons pinned to their coats, completed a circuit of the lake to highlight an issue the WI Movement continues to campaign for.
After the walk, Llangunllo members enjoyed a hot drink, cake, and for one, a late breakfast, in the Lakeside Café.
