Members entered the WI class at this year’s Knighton show. Open to WIs within a radius of 12 miles of the town, 4 institutes took part in the competition, an exhibit depicting “Art Deco” of 2 craft items, 2 cookery items, 1 preserve and 1 floral arrangement. Marks were also awarded for staging and interpretation.
It certainly proved to be a winning day for Llangunllo and we were awarded cups for the best overall display, the best individual item within one of the displays entered, plus the rosette for the best floral arrangement. Here’s to next year!
