The Community Council of Llangunllo and Bleddfa commissioned W.Protheroe Ltd
to clean the Llangunllo War Memorial and the surrounding slab area. All the joints were made good with traditional Lime mortar mix. Jonathon Protheroe over three days re-gilded and enamelled the carved ceremonial sword pommel and handle. Have you ever wondered why Llangunllo has its memorial made of stone?
