Orinoco Animal Sanctuary Llangunllo

The Sanctuary has been rather busy in the five months since moving to Llangunllo. We have attended numerous community shows with the Shetland ponies, goats, bunnies and lambs. Llangunllo show was a highlight and we felt warmly welcomed by the community.
The stables are now finished and the farm is progressing every day. We need to ensure every animal has access to warm dry shelter for the winter and with over 200 animals, this is no mean feat.

We have had numerous new residents, 5 muscovy ducks, 4 baby rabbits, 3 sheep, and a lamb with a neck problem. Zebedee, the lamb is so loving and gentle already a hit with our volunteers. We do offer a foster and boarding service and presently have four goats on the foster programme, whilst their owners move house. We also have 6 hens on holiday whilst their parents are in America. They have their own luxury hen hut with all mod cons and their own hen garden.
We are holding our annual Live Nativity on 22nd December at 3pm. We warmly welcome all the community and beyond. There will be prizes for the children taking part, a raffle and the Mulled wine trailer. If anyone is interested in taking part or volunteering please contact us info@orinocoanimalsanctuary.co.uk.
Any donations received at the event will be shared with St Cynllos Church.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Sanctuary
