The good ladies of Llangunllo and surrounding areas met outside The Greyhound Inn on their quad bikes during the afternoon of September 28th, 2024. It’s the second year they have put together this event and it looks like it will become an annual outing in Llangunllo. At around 3:00 pm, they set off from The Greyhound Inn and headed up Hen Cefn Lane on a pre determined route which takes in views of some of the finest Radnorshire countryside.
It’s not just a ‘jolly outing for the girls’, but the idea behind it is to raise monies for local charities. After approximately a couple of hours winding their way through narrow lanes, up and down hills and a few stop off points the ladies arrived back safely to The Greyhound Inn car park. Pork and beef rolls were served fresh to allcomers and again, this added to the coffers for local charities.
A big well done to all the ladies involved.
