June saw members and guests enjoying our annual BBQ courtesy of Di and Chris who hosted in their lovely garden. The afternoon was enjoyed by everyone and for once the weather was kind to us.
July was our visit to the Powys Archives in Llandrindod Wells and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We had a tour and talk and then several members took the opportunity to look at records relating to their homes and to the surrounding area. It was certainly well worth the visit. Following the visit, we enjoyed a lovely lunch at the café by the Lake, so all in all a lovely day.
August saw members and partners visiting Aulden Farm garden and nursery just outside Leominster. The garden is a lovely combination of rustic and formal settings and has been lovingly developed by the owners who enjoy sharing the garden with visitors. The visit was blessed with good weather, and the refreshments at the end were lovely. It is definitely a garden worth visiting.
