Wednesday 14th December and the community gathered at Llangunllo Village Hall at noon for the annual Llangunllo WI Christmas Community Lunch.
A festive fayre of turkey, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, peas, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce followed by a traditional Christmas pudding with custard was enjoyed by all attending. There was wine too, for those who wanted it and tea or coffee with after-dinner mints.
All prepared, cooked and served by the ladies of Llangunllo W.I. Crackers were pulled and fun was had telling the silly jokes and wearing the colourful paper crowns.
It was a wonderful afternoon of the community coming together and enjoying each others company. Many thanks to the Llangunllo W.I. ladies for their sterling efforts and we wish them all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
