Llangunllo WI were treated to an excellent talk from one of our members Sue, and her husband Chris as they shared with us their recent adventure cycling the length of Patagonia, finishing on Tierra del Fuego then onto Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.
We listened in awe at the hundreds of miles they cycled, the huge hills they climbed, which made our legs ache just thinking about it, and the amazing places they visited. The slide show made us feel we were riding with them, but for most of us thankfully from a chair in the village hall.
Sue and Chris brought along their tent and equipment all of which fitted onto the bike and brought a whole new meaning to travelling light!!
From blossom trees to lakes, ferries, the wild life, and of course the food and the people they met, we all enjoyed every moment of the talk, and look forward to hearing about their next adventure that is already in the planning stage.
