Easter was celebrated at St Cynllo’s Church with a Holy Communion Service taken by Revd Rachael Storer. We welcomed members of the community and from neighbouring parishes to the service which included the hymn “Breathe on me, Breath of God, fill me with life anew,” reflecting the new beginnings of Eastertide.
Alongside readings from the Old and New Testaments, the Gospel of St John, telling the story of the Resurrection was read by Rachael, and reflective music was played.
In our prayers we especially remembered Bob, whose recent sad death has left a void not only at St Cynllo’s but in our community as a whole, he will be so greatly missed.
As always, refreshments and social time together were shared after the service.
