They say, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” That was certainly true, when volunteers from Llangunllo Community Hall and The Friends Of St. Cynllo’s Church took residence for one week, at Cefnllys School Charity Shop in Llandrindod Wells, at the end of June. A grand array of excellent quality items had been generously donated and collected over the previous months, which filled the shop with clothing, books, bric-a-brac, homewares & toys…there was something for everyone!
Sales were brisk, with many customers visiting throughout the week, leaving the shop, happily clutching their bargains & helping to raise a good sum for both charities. A wonderful, team effort, headed by our very own charity shop queen & arranger, Dorothy Jones. Grateful thanks to everyone who helped in so many ways to make the week such a great success.
