If the daffodils are out and lambs are frolicking in the fields it must be time for the village WI to invite the community to their Spring lunch. The hall was once again filled with people from the village and lots of chatter as the tables filled up as the finishing touches were being made to the two-course meal by some members in the kitchen.
Members served lasagne, vegetables, garlic bread, meringue, fruit and cream to thirty of our lovely community, as well as the odd glass of wine!! Mini eggs, tea or coffee finished off the meal. All those attending agreed it was a lovely way to spend time catching up, enjoying a laugh and good company, here’s to the next event.
